What makes me the right person to look after your children?

I’m Flik, with over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, over a variety of settings, I am the safe pair of hands you need to make your holiday the best it can be. As a Mum of three myself, I treat your children with the same love and compassion as I treat my own.

I started my working life working in therapeutic play settings, which led me onto my Masters in Inclusion and SEN, where I specialised in autism, ADHD, SEBD. I worked in both special schools, and adapted units attached to mainstream schools.

My love of adventure saw me doing a stint taking families on adventurous holidays on horseback in Crete for a year, before I returned to deliver a Children and Young People’s service in a Women’s Refuge.

Once I became a mother myself, I became passionate about infant development, and nutrition. I trained as a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter, and ran groups for new mothers, guiding them through their breastfeeding journey with their new babies.

As a Mother I wanted to share my adventurous spirit with my children, and spent several years travelling and doing winter seasons, whilst ‘home’ educating them. After finding that the mountains kept calling us back every winter, we settled permanently in La Plagne, where they are all now in school.

Passionate to help other families have the same experiences as I gave my children, and keen to share my experience of taking care of children in the mountains in all weathers, Natural Nounou was born.
